A newly made individual piece measuring approximately 60x240cm (1.11½ x 7.10½ft) - we love the intricate diamond design in this long runner - note this piece has some very small areas of low pile which we have tried to show in some of the photos. These authentic carpet runners come in rich terracottas, reds and earthy colours and are perfect for Hallways. Traditionally made by the Baluchi tribal group who would migrate through the region of West Afghanistan. These Moshwani Afghan rugs have multiple weaving techniques in that the background is made with handwoven weft wrapping soumak kilim flat weave and other areas are made from a hand-knotted wool pile. Handmade in 100% Wool on Wool.
