Classic oriental vintage Persian hand-knotted Hamadan Rug - a genuine rug which is handmade and hand-knotted in wool. These rugs are usually woven with hand spun wool pile with cotton warps giving a good strong and robust rug that will last for many years. This traditional vintage Hamadan Rug measures approximately  131x218cm (4.3½ x 7.1½ft) excluding any tassels - this is a special rug, it has wonderful folk art motifs and animals - you won't get bored looking at this rug! These authentic Persian Carpets come from the villages within the greater Hamadan area of north west Persia and typically have geometric designs but occasionally will have an all over pattern.
