This traditional wool kilim rug from Turkey is a nomadic semi-antique piece and measures approximately 180x288cm (5.10½ x 9.5½ft) excluding any fringes - we love the plainer pattern together with the all over emblem pattern and warm pretty colours in this rug. This region is renowned for its excellent kilim weaving traditions. Wool kilims from this region use fine, hand-spun wool and the colours are likely to have soft terracotta's, ochre's and burnt oranges but generally softer colour ways with geometric designs.
