12404 Fine Afghan Ghalmouri Kilim Rug 96x203cm (3.1½ x 6.8ft)

This Afghan Ghalmouri Vintage Kilim (Kilims can also be referred to as Kelims) is a beautiful and unique one of a kind rug that has been hand-woven in central Afghanistan. This traditional wool kilim rug measures approximately 96x203cm (3.1½ x 6.8ft) excluding any fringes - we love the classic Ghalmouri pattern and colour way in this flat-weave rug. Typically geometric designs are used and these Kilims usually come in a variety of earthy colours which can include blue, grey, burnt orange and terracotta, amber and creams and rich browns.  Ghalmouri Kilims are of a fine quality and although appear similar to other Afghan Kilims, Ghalmouri's have a superior wool quality, a finer weave and are hard wearing.  Handwoven in 100% wool.
