Handmade from natural plant and vegetable dyes giving lots of character in the variegation of the colours that are produced by natural dyes. This new wool Kilim measures approximately 180x244cm (5.10½ x 8ft) excluding any fringes - we love the decorative all over design together with the creams and greens in the borders of this flat weave rug. The patterns used on these flat weave Rugs is that of the Shirvan design which originates from the eastern Caucasus and has been adopted by Afghan weavers for many years.
