Stunning purple and blue Afghan Kilim Rug, a unique hand-woven flat weave from Afghanistan (also spelt Kelim rug). Handmade from natural plant and vegetable dyes giving lots of character in the variegation of the colours that are produced by natural dyes. This small new wool Kilim has a beautiful combination of colours, is woven in a geometric design and measures approximately 101cm wide by 148cm long. The patterns used on these flat weave Rugs is that of the Shirvan design which originates from the eastern Caucasus and has been adopted by Afghan weavers for many years.
