This vintage Kilim Runner from Turkey measures approximately 56x834cm (1.10 x 27.4½ft) excluding any fringes - finding a runner in this length is very very difficult these days and this one excels with its beautiful colours and classic decorative Acipayam design. Acipayam is a town and a rural district of Denizli Province in the high country between the Aegean and Mediterranean regions western of Turkey - these Kilims are woven by Turkmen Yoruk tribes - the descendants of the Turkic tribes that settled in Anatolia hundreds of years ago.
