Highly decorative original Turkish Kilim bolster cushion cover in long rectangular size measuring approximately 44cm wide by 112cm long - this in an original weave from Adana (ie not cut from a rug) and it has a zip at the end as shown in images, we love the colourful cicim weave motifs on the natural dark background. Adana is a large city in southern Turkey which is inland from the Mediterranean, in south-central Anatolia. Being a cotton growing area, Adana has cotton readily available which is often used to weave brightly coloured emblems into their weavings. Of course, Adana is also famous for its kebabs!.
