A beautiful authentic large Semi Antique Azerbaijan Kilim Rug woven in Soumak flat weave (weft wrapping). Azerbaijan sits north of Persia next to the Caspian Sea and was formerly part of the Soviet Union; these Kilims are also known as Dagestan Soumaks. The measurements of this original flat weave wool kilim are approx 172x340cm (5.7½ x 11.1½ft). We love the soft blues and salmon pink/orange of this lovely old rug.
