These types of rugs are re-creations of antique Oriental designs and they use wools with attractive colours and tones. Their all over antique looking floral designs (mostly) are a contrast to geometric rug patterns. 100% hand-woven by Afghan people with soft hand spun wool pile - the wool used in these rugs is often good quality, although it can vary with chinese and indian reproductions; our Afghan Ziegler's have gorgeous soft wool quality.
