Using A Kilim As A Curtain

This wonderful striped Turkish Kilim makes a great curtain in this room. Our customer has found a good way to hang it so it can be pulled back out of the way when necessary.

NOT LONG TO GO NOW!

We are re-opening our Brighton Shop on Monday 12th April at 10am and can’t wait to welcome customers back again - we know many of you are waiting to be able to visit so you can see our great selection of rugs in person - we have continued getting exciting deliveries in recent months and the rug piles are nice and high in the shop, in anticipation of our re-opening on Monday. 

We shouldn’t forget to mention that we have had some fabulous new arrivals and our latest Persian Shipment is full of the most stunning and great value Tribal Shiraz, Qashqai and Hamadan Rugs which can be found in the Latest Arrivals section of our site.

In the meantime, we continue to despatch all online orders with super fast deliveries!

Calm Room With Rugs & Cushions

Our lovely friend (and customer) has made a special space in this lovely light room and the rugs and cushions add to the calm atmosphere.  The little red Afghan Aq Chah rug works nicely on the old wooden floor boards and the Afghan Baluch Cushion is just there ready and waiting for  someone to come and sit down with a cup of tea and some contemplation!

TURKISH SHIPMENT ARRIVED!

We have now received our Turkish Shipment all of which are available in the Latest Arrivals Section of our website. There are kilims in small, large & runner sizes as well as some stunning, rare vintage Kurdish Herki pile runners - not forgetting we also have some lovely old vintage carpet floor cushions - we are very excited about this fabulous selection of unusual rugs!

Wishing Everyone A Very Merry & Safe Christmas And A Happy New Year

Thank you to all our lovely customers who have supported us throughout this difficult year - your ongoing support means a lot to us. 

Despite the tier 4 lockdown we are still Open for Business via our Website, Email, Phone, Web Chat as well as Collect from Shop!  Luckily we just managed to get our Turkish Shipment into the country this week and we have an exciting new range of rugs and runners coming in the New Year - we will be busy over the next few weeks getting our new Turkish stock photographed and online - watch this space!

Winter Update

So here we all are in another lockdown - we have our fingers crossed we will be released come December and can open the shop to the public again as we miss seeing everyone! In the meantime we are busy fulfiling orders online and over the phone - turning our rugs into “magic carpets” and flying them out to your homes every day!

We've been getting creative with this pandemic in our midst; we are still sourcing some interesting things to stock up our shop and website, especially since Christmas is fast approaching. For example, did you know we have Gift Vouchers which are perfect for those who are hard to choose for?

Our NEW Afghan Poufs are fresh in and on our site today! They come in a beautiful mix of bright colours as well as the more traditional terracottas.

 

 

 

Our selection of Rugs & Kilims continues to grow and, despite it not being easy, we are managing to source some fabulous pieces which are due to arrive in an exciting shipment from Turkey in the next month or two.  We have Afghan shipments coming through fairly regularly and we are finding some unusual colourful pieces to add to our collection.

We've been getting nostalgic for some of the great travels we've had seeking out beautiful carpets & kilims for our shop and we are making exciting plans for 2021 - there's a lot of catching up to do!

Customer Rug Inspiration

This stunning Persian Baluch Carpet has found its perfect home gracefully adorning the bedroom of our customer’s Brighton seafront town house - what a great combination

This beautiful Persian Toserkan Rug just works perfectly in our customers spare bedroom, looks great with those cushions.  The Persian Hosseinabad Runner is just right for the spot in the entrance hall of the same house!

It’s great to see one of our Vintage Moldovan rugs being used by the lovely Susie Cave for the recent “Another Magazine” interview

Well this Afghan Moshwani rug has found its perfect home, our customer could see this would work in her lovely space and she was right!

Just couldn’t resist posting this lovely photo! This little cutie approved of the new rug, in fact I don’t think she will be sharing!!

This stunning Persian Kurdi Gouchan rug looks amazing in this room, it’s happy in its new home we love it when our customers show us the rugs in situ!

Open For Business!

We are happy to announce we are re-opening our Brighton shop on Wednesday 1st July - we are really looking forward to seeing everyone again and welcoming you through our doors! 

We have been busy preparing a new Shipment of Rugs, which are now all online and in our shop ready for our re-opening on Wednesday, which includes a lovely selection of Kilims and Carpets, Runners and Large Floor Cushions.

Our initial Opening Times for July have changed so please check our website before visiting. We will be limiting the number of people in the shop at any one time and have made our shop Covid Safe for our customers and staff as per Government Guidelines.

We are also offering private appointments outside of our opening times, allowing customers to have the whole shop to themselves whilst choosing their rug.

A few snippets of Latest News...

Although lockdown continues, it does give some of us the time to re-style and tidy up some of our rooms - all this time at home does give us that opportunity at least!  With that in mind, we have been busy getting some nice new treasures photographed and uploaded to our website - all now ready to browse in the Latest Arrivals Section of our site should you be looking for some inspiration!

We have also set up "Live Chat" on our website so you can ask any questions while you are browsing!  

Another new service is our free Virtual Appointments - a chance to have an informal chat about your rug requirements from the comfort of your own home! A great alternative during lockdown to the usual face to face service you would receive when visiting us at our Brighton Shop.

We hope everyone continues to stay safe and well and we look forward to seeing you at some point back in the Brighton Shop - in the meantime we continue to provide our excellent fast online deliveries to the UK and Internationally.

Firstly we would like to thank you for all your orders over the last few weeks, we are so grateful for your support during this period.  We have been despatching our UK orders in our usual speedy manner and today we have resumed our International deliveries - great news!

Spring Update

Everyone has been in our thoughts during this tricky period - we know it's not easy being inside in this lovely weather but many are putting this time to good use re-vamping their homes and catching up on those outstanding DIY jobs!

Although our Brighton shop in the North Laine is temporarily closed to the public, we wanted to assure you that we are still busy behind the scenes fulfilling and despatching online and telephone orders - deliveries are taking place as usual and we despatch quickly so you will receive your order within a few days! We have just uploaded some gorgeous new pieces to our website and these can be seen in our Latest Arrivals section

We are currently only posting to the UK but will resume International deliveries as soon as things settle down. We really appreciate and value the support you are giving us in placing your orders online and we look forward to the day we can once again start welcoming customers in person to the Brighton shop
