Whilst on our buying trip in Turkey earlier in the year we also had some stunning poufs made, we have some new designs and colour ways which can be seen in the Seat Section of our Website and also in our Brighton Shop
We have given our Brighton shop a fresh coat of paint and its looking very smart! It took a while to book in the scaffolders and organise the painter but it was worth it!
One of our Afghan Ghalmouri Kilims was featured in “Old House, New Home” - with George Clarke which was aired on Channel 4! What a gorgeous room it is !

We have been on a short road trip in Turkey, the weather was amazing and the scenery stunning so we thought we would share some images with you!
We stopped en route for an early morning Turkish Breakfast, as you can see it’s not for the faint hearted!
We found a beautiful spot in a dry river bed to stop for some Turkish Tea; the shady tree platform in the forest was perfect for us.
We were travelling to see our suppliers who produce hand loomed cotton hamam towels and throws
fWe are so looking forward to these arriving as we have been low on stock for some time, they make great bed or sofa throws, we have around 9 colours on their way to us!
Hamam Towels
We have 11 colours of hamam towels currently en route from Turkey, just in time for those hot days on the beach!
We travelled to the rug washing village where vintage kilims are washed ready for export, we always enjoy this trip as its beautiful countryside and the weather is warm with a gentle breeze, perfect for drying rugs!
fWe love soft coloured rugs as well and the vibrant bright colours, we like to have a mix of both to suit all our customers
fWe have a passion for village life and village houses in Turkey, we can’t resist taking pictures when we see such beautiful homes.

Christmas Opening Times
We are at that time of year when we really do want to keep warm and make our homes comfortable for the cold winter months ahead - a Persian, Turkish or Afghan handmade rug is a perfect way to make a room inviting and cosy!
We have just had a delivery of some beautiful Persian rugs which would sit nicely in front of a fire, by a sofa or beside a bed giving a welcoming soft texture underfoot!

Although times are still challenging we are busy organising new stock and we have some exciting deliveries coming later in the summer from Turkey and Afghanistan! We are re-opening our Brighton Shop on Monday 12th April at 10am and can’t wait to welcome customers back again - we know many of you are waiting to be able to visit so you can see our great selection of rugs in person - we have continued getting exciting deliveries in recent months and the rug piles are nice and high in the shop, in anticipation of our re-opening on Monday.
We shouldn’t forget to mention that we have had some fabulous new arrivals and our latest Persian Shipment is full of the most stunning and great value Tribal Shiraz, Qashqai and Hamadan Rugs which can be found in the Latest Arrivals section of our site.
In the meantime, we continue to despatch all online orders with super fast deliveries!

Despite the tier 4 lockdown we are still Open for Business via our Website, Email, Phone, Web Chat as well as Collect from Shop! Luckily we just managed to get our Turkish Shipment into the country this week and we have an exciting new range of rugs and runners coming in the New Year - we will be busy over the next few weeks getting our new Turkish stock photographed and online - watch this space!
So here we all are in another lockdown - we have our fingers crossed we will be released come December and can open the shop to the public again as we miss seeing everyone! In the meantime we are busy fulfiling orders online and over the phone - turning our rugs into “magic carpets” and flying them out to your homes every day!

We've been getting nostalgic for some of the great travels we've had seeking out beautiful carpets & kilims for our shop and we are making exciting plans for 2021 - there's a lot of catching up to do!
This stunning Persian Baluch Carpet has found its perfect home gracefully adorning the bedroom of our customer’s Brighton seafront town house - what a great combination
This beautiful Persian Toserkan Rug just works perfectly in our customers spare bedroom, looks great with those cushions. The Persian Hosseinabad Runner is just right for the spot in the entrance hall of the same house!
It’s great to see one of our Vintage Moldovan rugs being used by the lovely Susie Cave for the recent “Another Magazine” interview
Well this Afghan Moshwani rug has found its perfect home, our customer could see this would work in her lovely space and she was right!

We are happy to announce we are re-opening our Brighton shop on Wednesday 1st July - we are really looking forward to seeing everyone again and welcoming you through our doors!

Our initial Opening Times for July have changed so please check our website before visiting. We will be limiting the number of people in the shop at any one time and have made our shop Covid Safe for our customers and staff as per Government Guidelines.
We are also offering private appointments outside of our opening times, allowing customers to have the whole shop to themselves whilst choosing their rug.
