This traditional wool kilim rug from Turkey is a nomadic semi-antique piece and measures approximately 197x258cm (6.5½ x 8.5½ft) excluding any fringes - we love the all over pattern together with the wonderful earthy colours and hints of green in this good size kelim. This region is renowned for its excellent kilim weaving traditions. Wool kilims from this region use fine, hand-spun wool and the colours are likely to have soft terracotta's, ochre's and burnt oranges but generally softer colour ways with geometric designs.
